THE THIEF
Acryl on mirror (60 cm x 60 cm)
THE THIEF
The thief
He comes
Unseen. Unexpected. Unwanted.
But he comes
And steels what is so precious
The heart and hopes and treasures.
When hope is gone
Where do we find it?
When the heart is broken
What can we do?
We beg and pray
For the thief to bring back
What we are deeply missing
But will he come?
He won't
So where do we find our hope?
In all our worries, fears and sorrows
Let's keep our eyes open
For Him who cares for our souls
Even if it is hard.
